Inside Scoop on the Patek Philippe Ref. 3939

Big Things Come in Small Packages...

If it ever was a true statement, we can confidently say that the Patek Philippe Ref. 3939 is one of the most spectacular watches in Patek Philippe history. At only 33.5mm, the 3939 is a Minute Repeating Tourbillon with a gorgeous enamel dial with Breguet numerals and hands. Hodinkee once referred to it as the ultimate "Silent Killer". It is undoubtedly a sophisticated piece that we will become increasingly more desirable over the years.

For those of us that can pull off the 3970 and 5004, the 3939 is wears no different. In our opinion it doesn't attract attention that you wouldn't want anyways. Anyways aren't we getting tired of these oversized watches already? Although many of the current Patek Philippe Grand Complications are incredibly well-designed and engineered, I find that they wear to large on the wrist. Being that they are incredibly complicated timepieces, the last thing you want is to knock them around. The 3939 is the opposite. It wears larger that is measures out and it does exactly as it was designed to do...hide underneath the cuff and provide joy for its owner.

We are proud to offer a very beautiful example in yellow gold which we purchased from an important American collector this week.

Here are some photos of what it looks like.

It is being offered on our site HERE.
